Greeting and salutations,

As I write on this evening, I realize that I have now almost been a rennie for a full year. From page to squire to lady knight, I have certainly made my path in this group. It seems almost impossible to me to be all so quick. Nearly a year ago, I was just another newbie who stumbled into fighting. Now, I'm a leader and a stronger member (as some continue to make me believe). I have enjoyed earning my titles and strengthing my fighting within this time. Who knew that a lady such as myself could get myself to hit others, play with such dangerous objects, or take command whenever it is necessary.

However, this new year will be all the better. With it, I will get to show off my new pavillion, new furniture, new pretties (swords, jewelry, you name it), and......my new dress : )  Maybe I'll show off my husband (ha) but who will know. Sounds like I will be shown off as well by my ladies. As we return members and gain others, I am welcome to be in the presence of them all.

There is much to be looking forward to this year......as will there be in the future to come for the Royal Army of Comstocke. I must be off to slumber. Goodnight to you all.
